Responsibilities
Responsible for the strategic planning, directing, and managing Housekeeping operations to ensure clean, attractive, and first-class conditions of designated areas and quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction. This position reports to the Executive Director of Housekeeping.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following:
- Oversee the coordination and successful execution of all services throughout the Housekeeping
- Department. Rectify any deficiencies with respective operational departments
- Develop, monitor, and enforce Housekeeping policies, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and recommend repairs and upgrades when needed.
- Responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision and performance of the Housekeeping personnel.
- Coordinate and communicate with outside vendors to maximize relationships, performance, and service standards while maintaining the first-class conditions of the hotel.
- Ensure department compliance with Fontainebleau Miami Beach policies, procedures, and programs.
- Prepare and oversee the department's financial goals.
Qualifications
- Thorough knowledge of union contracts, federal, state, employment, OSHA, and Health Department regulations.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing. They should also be well-organized and exhibit strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective leadership, supervisory, and management skills. Budgeting and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, management, and staff.
- Bilingual preferred.
