POSITION OVERVIEW
The Fixed Assets Manager leads the team in accounting and tracking fixed assets related transactions. This position will work with finance and operation teams throughout the Company to ensure operating expenses, assets, and liabilities are properly reported.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Participate in and ensure accuracy in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes required for fixed assets
- Prepare and complete general ledger processes, including posting monthly journal entries and adjustments
- Prepare period fixed asset account reconciliations
- Perform detailed analysis of fixed asset general ledger accounts for CIP, assets, accumulated depreciation, and gain/loss
- Follow up on any outstanding concerns/issues brought to attention during the analysis and reconciliation of fixed asset accounts
- Record fixed asset transactions such as additions, transfers, and depreciation for capital assets in the ERP system in accordance with company policies
- Research, identify, and assist with the implementation of improvements to processes, reporting, and systems
- Manage the Capital Expenditure Process from project approval to placing assets in service
- Analyze and communicate with internal customers regarding inquiries on fixed asset accounts and projects
- Support finance budgeting and forecasting processes as needed
- Provide guidance and leadership development to the accounting team
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) years prior experience increased responsibility managing fixed assets
- Operational knowledge within the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry preferred
- Strong project management experience and process improvement
- Experience using Fixed Asset Management systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to gather, synthesize, and analyze data and draw logical conclusions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
