What are the responsibilities and job description for the Group Sales & Service Supervisor (Spa) position at Fontainebleau Las Vegas?
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Group Sales & Service Supervisor (GS&SS) will work closely with the Sales and Catering department to forge relationships with future bookings of groups and conventions for the spa reservations/buyouts. The GS&SS will research, analyze, and develop special events profit generating opportunities. The GS&SS will assist with spa operations as needed by the Spa Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Responsible for assisting all group bookings through Sales and Catering by being part of site inspections and pre-con meetings
- Create leads and develop long-term relationships with all departments of the Company to encourage spa growth
- Monitors changes and new developments in group and convention needs for spa and wellness
- Connects with convention planners after spa reservations/buyout are completed to determine and analyze client satisfaction, and organizational performance
- Assist with all duties and responsibilities of the Spa Operations Supervisors as need to by the Spa Operations Manager
- Ensure all areas of the spa are kept clean and well maintained
- Must lead by example by demonstrating exceptional guest service and Member interactions along with following all company and department policies and procedures
- Attend and participate in support training and staff meetings
- Ensure all Fontainebleau culture values, property, department standards are implemented and applied
- Assist in the spa reception and spa facilities when needed
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two (2) years working in a luxury resort setting or similar field
- Six months of leadership experience preferred
- One (1) year of sales experience preferred
- Possess an understanding of all exercise equipment and proper operations
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Able to multi-task while assisting multiple guests
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Excellent guest and Member skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Extraordinary attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines
- Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams
- Ability to resolve problems to the satisfaction of both the guest and the company
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job supervises all Spa Hosts, Spa Concierge, Lead Spa Hosts, Linen Runners.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
