POSITION OVERVIEW :
The Lead IT Technician is responsible for maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and associated software property-wide. The IT Technician II will also be the main point of contact for Members who are experiencing computer issues and will coordinate any IT related infrastructure and development challenges with the Director of IT Operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Work alongside contractors to install IT hardware
- Act as shift lead to a team of IT professionals, assigning tasks, setting priorities, and ensuring timely project completion
- Demonstrates solid knowledge and skills in IT operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks, serving as a go-to resource for technical support
- Serves as the primary escalation point for resolving technical issues that frontline technicians encounter, providing timely assistance and solutions
- Identifies opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency within the IT operations, suggesting and implementing process enhancements
- Assist Members with installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of workstations
- Install, configure, and verify functionality of approved hardware and software using standard operating procedures
- Assist Members with computer problems and answer their questions
- User provision using an array of systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, etc.
- Perform initial troubleshooting in person or remotely if needed
- Coordinate the needs of in-house IT users and remote Members, vendors, and contractors
- Replace IT equipment such as monitors, desktops, laptops, etc. when needed
- Reimage desktops and laptops when they need to be refreshed
- Protect customer data outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary needs
- RMA IT hardware when necessary with multiple vendors
- Assist in the discussions and deployment of temporary hardware setups for events
- Assists in maintaining an inventory of IT assets and equipment, tracking usage, conducting audits, and replenishing supplies as needed
- Assists in the training and onboarding of new hires, imparting knowledge and skills necessary for success in their roles
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
