POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis (“VP FP&A”) is responsible for leading the analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and labor management for the Company. The VP FP&A is also responsible for providing strategic financial input to senior management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Responsible for overseeing the annual budgeting process, periodic re-forecasting efforts during the budget year, and analysis requirements across the Company
- Lead and support a high-performing team of Financial Analysts in preparation of all reports and analyses
- Oversee the Labor Management department’s efforts to measure labor effectiveness, make recommendations to operating departments, and maintain labor efficiency while preserving the luxury experience for guests
- Collaborate with senior management and departments across the Company in identifying and executing analysis opportunities
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all ad-hoc analyses and reports, metrics, and dashboards
- Prepare and analyze actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical and projected performance
- Lead the preparation and be capable of effectively presenting portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual Board of Directors presentations
- Contribute to financial management of the Company by providing insights and recommendations on cash flow, cost identification, and revenue opportunities
- Develop relationships with property leaders to ensure strong, effective communication between the FP&A team and operating departments
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

This position job supervises all positions in the Financial Planning and Analysis Department and the Labor Management Department.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Excellent written communication skills in English also required.

Ability to apply advanced analytical reasoning ability to identify relevant data, conduct detailed analysis, draw meaningful conclusions, prioritize the most important conclusions, and communicate them to senior management.
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
