The Vice President of Rooms reports to the Senior Vice President and Managing Director and is a member of the company’s executive team. The Vice President of Rooms directly supports the short and long-term strategies for the Rooms and Operations Management Division. The professional in this role sets goals, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.

- Responsible for the development and management of integrated, strategy aligned departmental work plans.
- Be a role model for the company culture.
- Responsible for the development and management of the annual operating and capital budgets
- Develops innovative initiatives to enhance internal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Presents monthly reports on performance as requested by Sr. VP and Managing Director.
- Directly supervises Directors, Managers, and Administrative Assistants of the Rooms and other Operating Departments.
- Responsible for overall management to achieve customer satisfaction
- Develop and interpret policies, procedures, purposes and goals of the organization for subordinates.
- Reviews performance against operating plans and standards
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
- Must be able to be self-directed and work productively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
- Excellent public presentation and interaction skills.
- Capacity to assume more significant executive responsibilities over time.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/trade school required. M.B.A desirable.
- Minimum 10 years multi-unit experience leading an operations team in a direct customer service environment.
- Experience in union environment a plus.
