Responsibilities
Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following :
1. Responsible for the recording of transactions to ensure adherence to generally accepted Accounting Principles and adherence to Corporate Master Accounting policy
2. Prepare standard monthly journal entries and submit for review
3. Review all Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy and completeness and explain any unresolved exceptions to the Corporate Chief Accounting Officer
4. Compare monthly financial statement results with month end managerial results and explain all material differences
5. Any Balance Sheet account with other than a normal balance must be highlighted and explained in the current period workpapers
6. All liabilities that relate to tax returns must be compared to the return(s) for the appropriate period and discrepancies noted
7. Prepare monthly all Balance Sheet account reconciliations with complete detail support and appropriate review and sign off as explained in the MasterAccounting Policy
8. Perform other related duties as assigned
