What are the responsibilities and job description for the TEACHER AIDE (MODERATE TO SEVERE) - Bulletin position at Fontana USD?
Must demonstrate Highly Qualified status using the following education requirements :
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND
- Please read "Job Description / Essential Elements" above to review additional required experience for this position.
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, such as : learning disabilities, physical disabilities, emotional disabilities and behavioral disorders.
- Experience working in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) or Special Day (SDC) Class.
- Experience working with orthopedically impaired equipment - chairs, standers, lifts, switches, etc.
a) Two years of higher education study (48 semester units or 72 quarter units), OR
b) Possess an Associate's or higher degree, OR
c) Successful completion of a Fontana Unified School District-approved Paraprofessional Certificate and / or Paraprofessional Assessment Exam. (See www.fusd.net for details)
