Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee the Lab and serve as Quality Laboratory support for the plant.
- Gathering sample parts to conduct inspections and/or tests to verify product

Required:
- Demonstrated ability to use and understand various precision measuring tools.
- Caliper, Micrometer, Keyence IM Series, Optical Comparator, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of quality processes and procedures in a manufacturing plant.
- Knowledge and application of the heat-treatment of materials for hardness and
- Knowledge and previous experience with IATF-16949 and ISO-14001
- Ability to consistently meet production and quality standards.
- Attention to details and a thorough approach to part inspections and quality
- Good written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with teams.
- Advanced math skills for blueprint reading, gauging and dimensionals.
- Ability to identify small defects and good judgment with making decisions.
- Positive attitude and willingness to participate in team activities.
- Organized and focused, able to handle tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Physical dexterity and close-vision for fine part inspections and measurements
- Preferred (1) year(s) of previous Quality experience in a manufacturing or lab
- Experience with First Piece Setup Approvals and/or Production Quality
- Experience with Automotive and/or IATF-16949 QMS System
- Career-minded individual with a commitment to learning and developing
- Preferred experience with functional testing, and macro-etching metallography
