What are the responsibilities and job description for the Roll Thread Operator 2nd Shift position at Fontana?
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for machine setup and operation of Roll Thread Machines with little to no supervision . Must be able to read blueprints, inspect parts using a variety of quality tools and troubleshoot as needed to run quality parts to meet customer demand. THIS IS A 2nd SHIFT POSITION.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate equipment as trained.
Follow all safety rules.
Perform inspection checks to monitor the quality of all parts.
Perform the duties required to record data for SPC, ISO/QS documentation.
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oil changes and tightening of bolts.
Assist and train other operators as needed.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
3-5 years experience operating a variety of sized roll thread equipment.
HSD/GED or equivalent experience
Good Mechanical aptitude
Ability to perform basic math
