Job purpose :

The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and expansion of the Food Allergy Institute in the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for identifying and cultivating relationships with healthcare providers, institutions, and organizations to explain the effectiveness of the Tolerance Induction Program and its potential impact.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Implement marketing and sales strategies as appropriate.

Execute business plans and drive achievement of sales targets for the assigned territory, customers, or therapeutic areas.

Establish, maintain, and develop strong relationships with early childhood education centers, gastroenterologists, pediatricians, and allergists in Los Angeles and other targeted areas.

Maintain up-to-date call records for all key clients and produce documented sales results.

Work with the Business Development team to design and implement a process of converting our patients from the enrollment list into the “Tolerance Induction Program”.

Assist with special projects as assigned by management (e.g. customer support outside of designated territory / territories, etc.)

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year accredited college or university.

2 – 3 years’ experience in sales, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

Experience in both B2B and B2C Sales preferred.

Strong knowledge of the Gastroenterologist, Pediatrician, and Allergist / Immunologist environment preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive to and from clients.

Willingness to work evenings and weekends to attend outreach events as needed (conferences, programs, etc.).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk between multiple office locations that include the use of stairs (elevator is only available in some instances).

This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
