Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Department: Warehouse
Reports to: Operations Director
Job Summary:
Develops and maintains an efficient system for Retail Rescue, Agency deliveries, Mobile Pantries, Food Drives, Fresh Produce pick-ups, and Just in Time deliveries. The Logistics Coordinator works with partner agencies on their orders, inputs them into the system, prepares senior program orders, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
· Develop, supervise, and maintain an orderly process for the collection and delivery of food.
· Maintain files of the driver’s temperature logs, cleaning schedules, vehicle inspection logs and mileage sheets.
· Dispatch, schedule, and supervise incoming donations and the loading/unloading of product.
· Work with Food Resourcing to increase retail donations.
· Maintain good communications with retail donors ensuring our drivers are prompt, courteous and respectful.
· Assist the Operations Director in maintaining and monitoring a routine inspection/preventive maintenance program of all fleet vehicles and warehouse equipment, to comply with regulatory agencies and Feeding America policies.
· Implement and maintain safety policies and programs developed for our CDL Drivers.
· Prepare agency orders and senior program orders and reports as needed.
· Work with the receiving team to ensure product is received by correct categories.
· Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications:

· Ability to perform physical labor as necessary to assist in achieving FBCL Mission.
· Valid Louisiana driver’s license.
Specific to Position
· Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years minimum experience in management required.
· Two years minimum experience in retail rescue and food banking.
· Maintain ServSafe certification
· Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills.
· Computer literate in Microsoft applications.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
· Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
· Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
· Ability to work in an environment that is not climate controlled
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
