What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vending Assistant position at Food City Distribution Center?
JOB SUMMARY: Work associated with this position involves the maintenance, care and stocking of Vending Machines within the Distribution Center and K-VA-T offices.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Stocks all Vending Machines
- Maintains and distributes inventory for Vending
- Maintains upkeep of all Vending Machines
- Creates orders for merchandise through Customer Service and/or Vendors
- Repairs Vending Machines when needed.
- Ensure efficient and courteous customer service to store locations in support of the company mission to Run the Best Store in Town!
- Responsible for attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNTIONS:
- Performs related work, as required.
- Understand and follow confidentiality policy regarding company information as well as personnel information.
- Other tasks assigned for completion as assigned by direct supervisor or Company Executive Official.
- Utilize time management skills and prioritization to accomplish tasks through management team and associates.
- Follow all safety and security measures and guidelines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to operate all gas-powered vehicles and equipment associated to this position.
- Must possess a valid driving permit.
- Must possess a good driving record.
- Must provide a DMV driving record.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals daily.
- Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties.
