What We're Looking For:
As a Bakery/Deli Cashier, you play a key role in providing excellent customer service and facilitating smooth transactions in our vibrant and flavorful environment. Your enthusiasm for Mexican pastries and deli delights adds a unique touch to our customer experience, making their visits to the bakery and deli memorable.
This role is a fit if you:
- Have a passion for working with food (Prior food service experience is a plus, but not mandatory).
- Find operating a register second nature.
- Understand the right temperatures for heating and reheating food.
- Can efficiently manage cake orders.
- Uphold unwavering commitment to food and health safety.
- Familiarize yourself with all types of bread in our inventory.
- Handle check processing and understand check policies.
- Maintain a clean counter and ensure bags are consistently stocked.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math (One year of preferred experience).
- Take pride in upholding Food City's high-quality standards for deli and bakery goods.
- Possess an enthusiastic and receptive attitude towards learning and development.

Competitive Wages
Schedule: Full-Time: Rotating shifts Monday thru Sunday (8- or 10-hour shift between 6:00 am-9:30 pm) at our Ranchland location
Part-Time: 4-5 hour shifts during peak days and times
