Created for upcoming Junior and Senior college students, our full-time (40 hours / week), 12-week programs are designed to provide hands-on experience within your area of interest. Location : 1 Food City Circle, Abingdon, VA (Corporate Departments)Housing options are available through partnership with Emory & Henry University in Emory, VADescription : As you launch your career as a Business Manager with JCS Sales, you will focus on improving the success within a business function by analyzing sales & market data, discovering, and solving real world problems, & building business relationships with clients. The JCS Sales Business Manager position is a unique position that interacts with several aspects of the Food City business, such as merchandising, procurement, & advertising to name a few. You will work as both an independent contributor, as well as part of a team within JCS Sales department to complete and present a program project. You will be developing business strategies to drive growth and improve profitability for a specific set of suppliers. Enacting your business plan will require you to work with some or all the departments above to achieve your project goals. Program Requirements : Currently enrolled in a college or university as a Junior or Senior, majoring in a relevant field of study.Recently graduated with an undergraduate degree and are currently majority in a relevant field of study.Minimum 3.0 GPA, cumulative.Have strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.Ability to preserve confidentiality of company information.Ability to work with own initiative.
