Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, answering phone calls, processing prescriptions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and promote efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Answer telephone and handle questions that do not require a pharmacist's expertise or judgment.
- Receive written prescriptions or telephone refill requests.
- Gather information needed to prepare prescriptions.
- Record information needed before prescriptions can be dispensed.
- Store written prescriptions forms after prescriptions are dispensed.
- Enter data into computer.
- Stock over the counter products.
- Place completed prescriptions in pick-up area.
- Assist in preparing insurance claims and verify payments.
- Help customers find over-the-counter products.
- Maintain a clean department and work area.
- Assist in maintaining and stocking pharmacy department supplies.
