Duties

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, including counters, equipment, and storage areas.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and answering questions about products.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system.
- Perform basic math calculations for pricing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, quick service fast food restaurant, grocery store, or culinary environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate transaction handling and retail math applications.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting.
