Job Position : Event Producer
Wage : $50k - $61k yearly
Job Type : Hybrid (In-Office / Remote). Nights and weekends required.
Location : Lincolnwood, IL
Job Summary
As one of our FFT Event Producers, you will proactively seek and develop relationships that lead to opportunities to provide special event solutions. You will understand and utilize the sales process to find and secure sales for Food For Thought's catering division.
You will be a member of the Sales Team, supporting initiatives for daily sales office, sales, and full-service catering events. Executing tasks including, but not limited to : Venue sourcing, CRM management, field calls and inquiries, contract writing, menu creation, venue contracts, Request for Proposals (RFPs), floor plan generation, service, pack lists, equipment and linens, event timelines, site visits, event / client specific notes, execution of concierge services and on-site event management.
Responsibilities
- Writing and following through on proposals for events.
- Planning and conducting tastings to secure business.
- Creating pre-event communication to ensure the execution of booked events.
- Performing sales in our Event Group and Workplace Solutions branches to enhance client portfolio.
- Preparing information for and participating in weekly menu meetings and other meetings.
- Participating in promotional and networking opportunities to support the sales effort.
- Participating in regular training sessions, skill development and goal setting.
- Exceeding annual sales goals set by the leadership team
