Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver & Kitchen Prep Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will use their own vehicle to deliver orders within a 5 km radius and assist the kitchen prep team during downtime. This is a dual-role position that requires flexibility, efficiency, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:Delivery Duties:
- Use personal vehicle to deliver food orders to customers promptly and safely within the designated radius.
- Ensure food remains at the appropriate temperature and follows handling guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
Kitchen Prep Duties:
- Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, cutting, and organizing ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations as required by New York Health Department standards.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid New York State driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must own a reliable and insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Prior experience in food service or delivery is a plus.
