Job Position: Delivery Supervisor / Dispatcher
Wage: $55,000 - $65,000 a year
Location: Lincolnwood, IL
Job Summary
As our Delivery Supervisor, you will manage the routing and logistics of delivery routes, ensuring on-time and consistent deliveries, coordinating activities with other departments as they relate to Events, Catering, and Drop Off Food services.
Responsibilities include supervising a team of delivery drivers and warehouse attendants, you will be required to cover absences for the purpose of providing adequate coverage to meet the delivery needs.
Responsibilities
Minimum 5 years of Delivery Supervisor experience.
Strong sense of confidence, empathy, self-accountability, intrinsic motivation and self-starter.
Effective organizational skills to work, prioritize, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to successfully pass Pre-Employment screening and U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) background checks.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to work in a team, as well as on individual tasks.
Effective communication skills to manage, build and mentor a team, as well as to collaborate with other departments.
Adaptability to challenges and problem-solving skills.

- Oversee scheduling, routing, and tracking of delivery routes.
- Train warehouse and non-warehouse employees on the proper operation of our vehicular fleet in coordination with Warehouse Manager.
- Responsible for the selection, education, and development of staff
- Engage in a positive and professional relationship with our clients and vendors.
- Responding to customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all necessary equipment, supplies and consumables have been loaded prior to delivery drivers departing.
- Responsible for regular maintenance and repair scheduling for vehicular fleet. Responsibilities include monitoring costs and making recommendations for purchase/repair of vehicles.
- Inventory and accountability for spare keys, insurance and registration information.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations according to local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and enforce proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
