Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant located in Lincolnwood, IL. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing general accounting and financial processes, processing financial transactions, preparing budget reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role will also include analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing financial advice to management. The Senior Accountant will report to VP-Finance.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial processes, and regulations
- Expertise in financial reporting, budget preparation, and management
- Proficiency in handling reconciliations, and processing financial transactions
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance
- Analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data and providing financial advice
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials are a plus
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively
