What You’ll Do For Us
- Prepares beverage & beverage base batches based on lab sheets shared by developers within the expected quality and time and prepares consumables & finished goods for production/shipment.
- Analyzes basic beverage parameters i.e., brix, acidity, pH, carbonation, and taste.
- Monitors processes to support the production parameters within specifications and checks microbiological conditions of equipment and takes corrective actions.
- Interacts with the Product Developers to clarify production processes and to inform of non-conformities.
- Provides guidance, expertise and training in selected pilot plant equipment and develops ability on specific equipment.
- Works directly with cross-departmental personnel and management to problem-solve to ensure maximum production efficiencies.
- Works as the primary Trainer for new employees leading training classes covering policies, processes, standard work, lean tools and new/revised systems requirements.
- Implements the plant reliability strategy by facilitating exercises, tracking performance, keeping data and records and reporting status of various reliability programs.
- Manages documentation and records in order to ensure that they are complete, current, secure and easily retrievable.
- Reviews and updates existing standards, specifications or requirements in order to follow changes in regulatory and customer requirements, and to support new product development.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is needed with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of successful experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be proficient in understanding, monitoring, and acknowledging machine malfunction alarms with the ability to manage solutions efficiently and effectively.
- Must have a working knowledge of beverage applications & basic parameters, knowledge of principles industrial food hygiene and an understanding of ERP environment.
- Competency in brix/acidity/pH/CO2 analysis is ideal.
- Forklift and Hi-Lift certified or ability to become certified in a reasonable time frame
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under stressful situations
- Must be able to use computers and associated software programs, such as Microsoft Office, One Note, SAP, Infinity Quality System.
