What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grocery Stocker position at Food Lion?
- This stocker position is primarily for conditioning the store. This person must be fast paced and attentive to detail. Primary job is to condition ( face product forward for presentation) total store in the evenings to ensure a good turnover for the next day of business.
- Collect and put back out of place items ( reshop)
- Breakdown pallets of merchandise to organize by aisle on to carts
- Work the merchandise to respective locations while paying attention to cleanliness, organization and visual appeal
- Assess multiple locations of products to ensure all locations are full
- Condition/zone total aisles, meaning fronting of merchandise to bring a crisp clean look and visual appeal for the customers daily
- Exercise great customer service while adhering to covid safety standards
- Occasional spill clean up using proper clean up materials
- Heavy lifting, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing and squatting will be required to perform the duties of this position
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Weekly day range:
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Grocery retail: 1 year (Preferred)
