Our client plays a critical role in global supply chains, innovating and delivering essential products in a wide variety of end markets and applications such as building and construction, fertilizers, plastics, solvents, packaging, paints, coatings, adhesives, and electronics.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in the detailed Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) engineering work with designers and CAD operators
- Manage the civil, structural and architectural discipline team in supporting capital projects
- Resource planning and scheduling to meet project objectives and schedule milestones
- Develop, review, and approve engineering deliverables (specifications, reports, drawings, etc.
- Engage in interdisciplinary project reviews with mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation teams
- Ensure quality assurance and control requirements are adequately developed and met for engineering, design, and installation work
- Quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) regarding CSA issues
- Some travel is required (10%)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- P.E. license (ability to obtain PA and VA licenses)
- 5-10 years of experience in CSA design for chemical or industrial manufacturing facilites
- Must have experience engineering teams
- AutoCAD knowledge, 2D, 3D, and CADWorx (3D Plant design software)
