Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing patient-specific treatment plans under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
- Administer both manual and non-manual physical therapy exercises.
- Educate and motivate patients to engage in their rehabilitation process actively.
- Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.
- Conduct follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients.
- Ensure eligibility requirements for home health services are consistently met.
- Perform maintenance therapy as needed.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and be prepared for travel to patients’ homes.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
- Valid in-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- A minimum of one year of experience in home health as a PTA.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring disposition.
- Possess a clean DMV record.
