Summary
As a Delivery/Warehouse Worker at Sammy's Seafood, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for the timely delivery and processing seafood products. The employee will work in the warehouse on a daily basis and drive on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday. Work schedule is forty hours per week and they will have Wednesday and Sunday off.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport seafood products to various locations.
- Load and unload seafood products using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with the bagging and handling of all seafood products.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
Qualifications
- Clean driving record is necessary.
- Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Strong driving record with experience in delivery driving.
- Basic customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
