Summary
As a Warehouse Associate at Sammy's Seafood, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for ensuring efficient order fulfillment and warehouse management. This role is vital in maintaining our commitment to quality service and timely delivery of seafood products. The Associate's weekly schedule is 40 hours and they will have Wednesday and Sunday off.
Responsibilities
- Perform order picking and packing of seafood products accurately and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage practices are followed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery schedules are met.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse.
- Operate reach trucks and other warehouse equipment safely as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields.
- Strong skills in order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes.
- Ability to operate reach trucks or similar equipment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is beneficial.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
