What are the responsibilities and job description for the AFMIS Clerk position at Food Services Inc of Gainesville?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer Phone Calls to DFACs. Email correspondence with corporate office and Government Clients. Account for soldiers eating in facility (Headcount). Account for food used to prepare meals. Generate Production Schedules for cooks to prepare meals. Generate orders for Managers to order by and then input to send to SSMO. Input receipts, inventories, and orders. Generate deposits also using OTC.net. Make deposits at bank then close out deposit in AFMIS. Receive and disburse money in DFAC.
- Maintain requirements of Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and Army Record Information Management System (ARIMS).
- Data Entry and Reporting Requirements in AFMIS and ARIMS.
- Gain proficient knowledge of AFMIS and ARIMS systems and conduct and follow all procedures and policies of each.
- General knowledge of Computer operation and Office systems.
- Filing and general office duties.
- Help when needed in other positions.
- Must be able to attain a Government issued Common Access Card (CAC).
CLEANING ASSIGNMENT
- Keep AFMIS Office Organized and Clean.
All staff members are also responsible for other duties or tasks that are assigned by the Assistant Managers or
Supervisors, as a part of any “Job” or “Position” assigned during a normal work schedule. Team members may
be assigned to support the meal production, service and cleaning after the meal or the dining facility.
Daily-Employee Hygiene – All Employees must
- Wear assigned uniforms; Uniforms are to be clean and properly maintained with name badges and government IDs.
- Employees must
- Wear hairnets or other hair restraint in foodservice places when in food production or serving areas, may not work with food with exposed boils or infected cuts, abrasions, or burns.
- May not work with acute respiratory illness and cannot work with contagious illness.
- Employees must
- Use disposable gloves and changed per guidelines; smoking is only in designated areas.
- Fingernails are short and clean, not wearing loose hanging jewelry and trained on proper hand washing techniques.
