Chef Manager (Full-Time)

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Chef Manager to join our team full-time. This is a dynamic, hands-on role based in our food truck and commissary kitchen, perfect for a hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working directly with customers.
The ideal candidate is motivated, respectful, and team-oriented with a strong commitment to food quality, hospitality, and operational excellence. This position involves a mix of culinary and administrative duties, including prepping, inventory management, and ordering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations on-site at food truck, catering venues, and other event locations (indoor and outdoor)
- Prep menu items for food truck service, catering, deliveries, and drop-offs
- Manage inventory, food cost controls, and ordering
- Create and execute menus, including specials and seasonal promotions
- Handle set-up and breakdown of propane tanks, generators, and kitchen stations
- Work actively on griddle, fryer, salad station, and serve as cashier when needed
- Provide exceptional guest service and lead customer interactions with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and food prep areas (griddles, utensils, pots, pans, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or food service education preferred
- MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE FOOD TRUCK
- 3-5 years of food service management experience
- Strong culinary skills and catering/event service knowledge
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage operations efficiently
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
- Primary days of work are Friday, Saturday & Sunday and will vary based on business demand
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and varying shifts based on business needs (no major holidays required)

- Preferred Qualifications:
Food service degree preferred
3-5 Years Food Service Management experience
Culinary and catering knowledge
Ability to adapt, learn and grow with a growing company
- Experience:
Food service Management: 1 year (Preferred)
P&L Management: 1 year (Preferred)
Supervisor: 1 year (Required)
Restaurant / Professional kitchen: 3 years (Required)
Food Ordering: 1 year (Required)
Inventory Management: 1 year (Required)
- Serve-Safe managers certificate required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
