Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Production Manager with HACCP and SQF training to oversee our egg roll manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality in our production line. This role requires strong food safety regulations and mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with various tools and equipment used in a factory setting. The Production Manager will play a crucial role in leading the team to meet production goals while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
We work Monday- Friday, day shift only. Off on all Federal holidays.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily egg roll production activities within the Food manufacturing facility, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Work with site supervisor to coordinating workflow and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
- Supervise and train production staff on proper use of equipment and optimal work efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
- Collaborate with site supervisor to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any production issues.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste within the factory.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies in the warehouse environment.
Skills
- HACCP and SQF training minimal, HACCP and SQF certifications preferred.
- Proficient mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Familiarity Food production line processes and techniques for efficient production flow.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement practices.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across different departments.
