We are currently seeking a responsible, organized and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting department as a Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager.
Essential Job Functions :
- Serve as administrator for licenses and permits software
- Monitor 400 licenses for expiration
- Oversee / complete license and permit renewals, new applications, and dissolutions. This process includes (a) communicating with internal and external contacts to obtain relevant data and resolve any issues, (b) completing all forms and steps, and (c) receiving, distributing, and retaining documents.
- Maintain / update license and permit data
Complete various compliance-related filings and reports
Prepare / review recurring accounting schedules / financial statements for SFOC companies, related to :
Supervise outsourced resources
Gain competency in financial reporting software; edit reports and create / run custom reports to fulfill internal requests
Assist with ad hoc / miscellaneous compliance and financial reporting tasks
Ensure completeness and accuracy of data
Follow established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
