What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic/Web Designer position at Foodstuffs Gourmet Foods & Catering?
We are seeking a Designer to join our team! This in-office position is a fast-paced for a self-motivated team player. Requirements include front end web design and print publications. Creativity, graphic & web design skills paired with a strong work ethic is required. Additionally, completing design objectives from beginning to end, as well as handling multiple projects while meeting deadlines is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Project management from concept to completion
- Work with minimal supervision against tight deadlines
- Design and modify websites
- Develop layouts, design & artwork for advertising & POP projects
- Retouch images for both print & web
- Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
- Integrate web sites with multiple applications
- Up-to-date with web development & trends
- Social media management, inclusive of product photography
Qualifications:
- BA in Design or equivalent experience with a background in Print, Layout, Design & Social Media platforms
- Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign
- Familiarity with Wix
- Experience with file prep for print
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly creative
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Understanding of photography principals & artificial lighting
