Job Functions
As a Deli Clerk-Prepared Food professional at Foodtown, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the success of our deli operations. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Making orders and replenishing deli product accordingly.
- FOLLOWING approved procedures to ensure quality, accuracy, product rotation, and protection.
- Following SHRINK guidelines.
- Adhering to food handlers safety protocol.
- Reconciling product received against an invoice.
- Understanding diverse food, including taste, preparation method, or use, and price differences between varieties of similar classes of products.
- Performing all duties in accordance with Local, State, and Federal regulations as they pertain to the deli operations.
