Deli Clerk Job Summary
The Deli Clerk plays a critical role in the success of the Deli Department at Freshtown PSK Supermarkets. This position requires a team player who can provide excellent customer service, assist with daily operations, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Prepare deli products using slicing machines, scales, and other equipment.
- Replenish deli product and restock shelves.
- Handle damaged and spoiled products according to Company policy.
- Keep salad bowls and displays stocked and properly turned and faced at all times.
- Unload trucks and transport merchandise to the Deli Department.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
- Capability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping duties.
