Appointment Scheduler

Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas (FAANT) is looking for an Appointment Scheduler to join our team in Keller, TX. As an appointment scheduler, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our patients when they contact our office.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to answer all incoming calls and patient text messages in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Schedule appointments over the phone and accurately acquire all necessary demographic and insurance information.
• Respond to appointment inquiries from the practice website and referrals.
• Return patient voicemails, emails, and text messages.
• Document patient calls and inform necessary departments of appointment status changes.
• Complete insurance verifications as needed.
• Other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication with patients, physicians, and team members
• Understanding of medical insurance (Medicare and Commercial) and electronic medical records
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced clinic
• High school diploma/GED
