What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Medical Assistant position at FOOT & ANKLE ASSOCIATES LTD?
Description:
Must have the ability multitask and to be able to handle a fast paced, but fun work environment and travel to our other locations in the Cincinnati area as needed.
Requirements:- Recording medical history and vitals
- Rooming patients
- Assisting physicians with minor in-office medical procedures
- Scheduling testing procedures such as MRI's
- Scheduling patients with other physician offices
- Pre-certifications
- Clean and maintain instruments
- Cleaning treatment rooms
- Communicating patient needs with physicians
- Assisting physician with charting
- Trimming toenails
- Returning patient phone calls
- Some receptionist duties such as answering phones and making patient appointments
- Surgery scheduling
- Administrative duties
- Etc.
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous CNA or MA experience is preferred but not required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
