Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Process / submit various denials knowing how and when to resolve / resubmit to insurance companies.
- Working aged accounts to avoid timely filing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to medical billing and collections.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance representatives to resolve billing issues or discrepancies.
- Conduct follow-ups on unpaid claims and manage the medical collection process as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations, coding practices, and insurance policies.
- Collaborate with other departments within the medical office to ensure seamless operations.
- Strong attention to detail to accurately log claim status as part of the AR workflow.
- Other duties as assigned
