Overview
This hybrid position can be located at our Corporate Office in New York City, St. Petersburg, FL, or Dallas, TX.
Hybrid in-office expectations are twice a week, on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring an Operations Communication Manager to join our team! This role will work on the Operations team, focused on implementing and promoting the long-term Lace Up Plan within Foot Locker, Inc. This role will work enterprise-wide with key cross-functional leaders owning companywide communication on our new initiatives and progress around all Operations, Supply Chain, Transformation, LEED and more. You will develop programs and tools, foster engagement, lead training and bring visibility to the entire organization on our progress. This is an individual contributor role on the Operations Strategy and Transformation team and will own all communications for the broader operations pyramid. (The internal title for this position will be Manager, Operations Transformation.)
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead for all internal communications around the Operations Team including but not limited to Supply Chain, Technology, Lace Up/Transformation, LEED and more across the organization
- Develop communication and internal training including presentations, emails, microsite, forums, tutorials, videos, etc.
- Drive awareness and adoption of Foot Locker's Lace Up/Transformation plan to the broader organization utilizing a regular cadence of events and updates
- Partner with the entire operations team team to prepare materials and measure the success of adoption. Pivot and adjust plans where necessary to improve implementation
- Construct materials and lead trainings for new initiatives
- Own all internal communications both upward to the Executive Leadership team and broader organization making sure to tailor the message accordingly
- Reporting to the VP, Operations Strategy but will support all leaders within the operations team including the EVP/COO, SVP/CTO, SVP, Chief Supply Chain office and their respective leadership teams
- Create new, fun and exciting content that drives culture and engagement within Foot Locker, Inc.
- Partner with our Culture and Diversity/LEED team to further amplify our commitment to social programs that Foot Locker Inc supports as part of our transformation
- Work with cross-functional partners and corporate communications to enhance our adoption and culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years or equivalent of relevant work experience in corporate communication, transformation, culture, or employee engagement
- Competency in Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Adobe Acrobat, and internal/external social media and networking platforms
- Creativity and comfort utilizing technology for communications, including digital and video communication
- Experience in writing for and producing content for multi-channel communications, including events, video, digital, and social media (internal and external social platforms)
- A person that can celebrate wins, but also is always looking to continuously improve
- Strategic thinker with project management and execution skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; high level of attention to quality and creativity
- Presentation skills
- Excellent networking skills needed to quickly build global relationships

Benefits
The annual base salary range is $85000-$100000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
