Repair technician

Repair TechnicianLocation : Chelmsford, MAShift : 1st 7 : 00 AM 3 : 30 PMCompensation : $25-27 / hrDuration : Temp to Perm Responsibilities : Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final system assemblies.

Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks.Perform testing and troubleshooting related to the manufacturing process.

Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.

Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and / or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.

Assist engineers in conducting experiments.Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team-leading function.Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.

Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.Experience : Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.Proficiency in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
