Scheduler

Project: Underground Mine

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and identifying deviations for stakeholder review.
• Conduct root cause analysis on schedule variances and collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies.
• Support project planning efforts and monitor productivity across various project activities.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining project baselines, execution plans, and contract administration.
• Focus on project cost aspects, including cost coding, reporting, forecasting, change management, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Analyze project performance data, identify trends, and support mitigation planning.
• Maintain project risk registers and track schedule, scope, and budget impacts.
• Perform version control of schedules and coordinate reporting activities.
• Identify potential contract change orders and ensure adherence to project management processes.
• Adhere to company policies, safety programs, and confidentiality requirements.
• Conduct field-level risk assessments and comply with safety directives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5-15 years of project controls experience on large scale projects
• Experience in managing project schedules, costs, risk, etc
• Mining industry experience a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
