Project: Underground Mine
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and identifying deviations for stakeholder review.
- Conduct root cause analysis on schedule variances and collaborate with teams to implement mitigation strategies.
- Support project planning efforts and monitor productivity across various project activities.
- Assist in establishing and maintaining project baselines, execution plans, and contract administration.
- Focus on project cost aspects, including cost coding, reporting, forecasting, change management, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Analyze project performance data, identify trends, and support mitigation planning.
- Maintain project risk registers and track schedule, scope, and budget impacts.
- Perform version control of schedules and coordinate reporting activities.
- Identify potential contract change orders and ensure adherence to project management processes.
- Adhere to company policies, safety programs, and confidentiality requirements.
- Conduct field-level risk assessments and comply with safety directives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 5-15 years of project controls experience on large scale projects
- Experience in managing project schedules, costs, risk, etc
- Mining industry experience a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
