Pay Range: $120,000 - $130,000 (commensurate on experience)

What You Will Do:
As a Construction Materials Engineer, you’ll play a key role in construction inspection and materials testing, ensuring quality and compliance while also leading and mentoring a team.
- Oversee and manage medium to large geotechnical and construction materials testing projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and consistently delivering high-quality results.
- Lead and mentor field staff, promoting a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented team environment.
- Collaborate with technical teams, leadership, and laboratory staff to deliver seamless project execution.
- Contribute to business development by expanding your professional network and supporting company growth objectives.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Inspections, Materials Testing, Geotechnical projects, and/or Special Inspections
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within six months
- Familiar with ASTM, AASHTO, DOT standards, and IBC Special Inspections
- Physically capable of working in field settings and lifting up to 50 pounds
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Willing and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to walk over rough or uneven terrain and stand for extended periods (potentially up to 12 hours/day)
- Routinely lift and carry 40-50 lbs of field/lab samples and equipment
- Safely maneuver field equipment, such as loaded wheelbarrows, around active construction sites
