Job Title: Project Manager
Location: New Albany, OH
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $70 - $80/hr
Per Diem: $140/day
Hours: 50 hours per week
As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of construction projects, ensuring the successful management of a high-performing team. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and financial performance of projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s core values: people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence.
Your duties will include managing all project phases from qualification through estimation, pre-construction, mobilization, execution, and closeout. You will ensure that all project and contractual requirements are met in a safe and professional manner, adhering to established budgets and schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams throughout all stages, from planning to completion.
- Develop and implement project execution plans, including scheduling and coordination.
- Collaborate with the Superintendent and field teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify risks and potential issues, developing and executing recovery plans as necessary.
- Oversee financials, approve invoices, track budget variance, job costs, and productivity, and report financial performance.
- Successfully negotiate change orders.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and end-user stakeholders.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and subcontractors.
- Source, qualify, and secure new opportunities for growth.
- Build and nurture a high-performing team, providing mentorship and training for employee development.
Scope & Responsibilities:
- Receive assignments based on objectives and goals, with guidance on achieving them.
- Provide direction and manage employees in line with company policies and management directives.
- Administer and recommend changes to unit or sub-unit policies.
- Management reviews work to assess goal achievement.
Complexity & Discretion:
- Evaluate situations or data to determine appropriate actions, using judgment within established guidelines.
- Incorrect decisions or failure to meet objectives may result in project delays.
