Quality Control Lead
At FootBridge, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Lead to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Quality Systems: Determine the quality system requirements to be applied to suppliers and contractors, and establish and oversee the Vendor and Site Quality Audit Program to ensure compliance with Contract Quality requirements.
- Conduct Quality Inspections: Conduct both planned and unplanned inspections, and/or assessments to ensure quality standards are met.
- Review Quality Documents: Review Quality Manuals, inspection, testing, welding, and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures, and quality records to ensure compliance with project procedures.
- Collaborate with Site Construction Leads: Collaborate with site construction leads to monitor the Quality Programs ensuring they comply with project procedures and are effective.
- Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify key high-risk quality activities and ensure risk mitigation plans are created and monitored through to completion.
- Track and Trend Non-Conformances: Track and trends project non-conformances, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
- Participate in System Walk-Downs: Participate in system walk-downs and verify the accuracy and completeness of punch lists for quality-related issues.
- Assist in Resolving Supplier Quality Issues: Assist in resolving supplier quality issues as needed.
Requirements:
- 10 Years of Experience: 10 years of experience in major construction projects.
- QC Program Management: Experience managing QC programs for large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills (proficient in MS Office Suite).
- Complex Problem-Solving Skills: Complex problem-solving skills.
- Educational Background: BS Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
