Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: West TX
Duration: 6 Month contract
Pay Range: $50-55/hr, OT after 40
Per Diem: $1,162/week
Mob/Demob: Up to $1,000 each way for reasonable miles, meals, and lodging, with receipts.
Target start date / availability: ASAP.
Work Schedule: 50-60 hours per week

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as client’s onsite representative and point-of-contact to their customer, contractor, and other parties associated with the onsite project execution scope. Projects involve construction of privately owned high-voltage infrastructure including transmission circuits and utility-grade open-air electrical substations. Projects are typically part of a complex plant construction site involving activities by multiple contractors.
- Promote workplace safety through actions such as observations of work execution, hazard identification, participation in tailgate safety meetings, and preparation/review of Job Safety Analysis plans.
- Participate in site coordination meetings as the representative of client and the high-voltage infrastructure projects.
- Advise (not direct) Contractor site management on job planning and execution.
- Perform inspection of all in-scope construction activities, ensure construction according to approved drawings, and provide appropriate documentation (forms, photos, etc.)
- Coordinate and sequence owner-furnished materials delivery.
- Coordinate specialty contractors that have been contracted by client for certain tasks.
- Support the client project management team and detailed design engineering consultant.
- Oversee request-for-information (RFI) and change order processes and ensure timely flow of necessary engineering/construction information.
- Initiate appropriate discussion when engineering errors are encountered or when more optimal solutions are encountered.
- Promote effective communication between all involved parties.
- Provide progress and safety reporting to customer and client’s project management team.
- Oversee as-built redlining of construction drawings by contractor to ensure changes are appropriately captured.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Provides on-site supervision and subcontractor coordination on utility projects
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment
- Ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
- 5 years of construction supervision experience desired
- Utility scale project experience required; transmission, distribution, substation
- Serve as company point of contact for clients, vendors and subcontractors.
- Oversight of safety compliance.
- Reporting daily progress to client.
- Understanding of construction project management principles required.
Salary : $45 - $55
