Summary : The Facilities Manager is responsible for facilities management of all Credit Union-owned and leased sites, mainly related to capital operations and maintenance, preventative maintenance, construction, and supervision of facilities safety and governmental compliance. Develops and implements facility-related policies and procedures and ensures that all operations follow established health and safety regulations. Furniture, equipment, and services purchased are of acceptable quality at the least possible cost. Keeps Senior Management well informed of area activities and significant problems. Coordinate any ad hoc facility-related projects, such as managing moving departments, remodeling work, and building out of branches.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The requirements below represent the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required but may not be all-inclusive. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.
Assumes responsibility for the planning, development, and implementation of adequate facilities policies, procedures, and planningEnsures the security of all credit union facilities. Conducts scheduled inspections of security and fire protection systems and implements improvements as necessaryResponsible for scheduling appropriate preventative maintenance tasks for equipment and all other building systems that will maximize the life of the equipment and keep it in efficient working orderManages the process for all Foothill construction projects, branch construction, branch remodels and maintenance, headquarters tenant improvement projects, and any other construction ad hoc projects.Manages vendor relations - ensures all vendor files are up to date with insurance requirements, handles service complaints / issues, and ensures compliance with contract documentsCoordinates routine service requests and repairs to all branch facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical issues, plumbing issues, flooring, lighting, painting, and non-computer equipment through internal resources or third partiesCollaborates with the CTO on annual operations / capital budget planning and management processes, including expense forecasts, based on efficient use of resources and sound planning management parametersCompletes semi-annual ADA inspections and updates monthly reports as appropriateCoordinates Fire, Life, and Safety (FLS) testing and compliance in all Foothill facilitiesMaintain master schedule of conference / board room and ensure room setup is made as requestedMonitor janitorial company and supplies and perform any additional janitorial services during business hoursOversee the overall maintenance, repair, and cleanliness of all locations and buildingsExperience / Education Requirements :
High School degree or General Education Degree (GED)A four-year college degree preferredMinimum of four to six years of related experienceExcellent understanding of facilities management proceduresKnowledge of budgeting, service contracts, and leasing agreementsExperience performing facilities repairs (lighting fixtures, plumbing, painting, etc.)Other Skills and Abilities :
