Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist the patient in scheduling and maintain accurate patient records using systems such as Dentrix.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Coordinate communication between dental team, patients, and external parties.
- Support clinical team by preparing necessary documentation and assisting with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and dental equipment, placing orders as necessary.
- Implement practice strategies to improve workflow and enhance patient experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and understanding of clinic operations.
- Proficiency in practice management systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A background in dental administration is advantageous but not required.
