What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Supervisor position at Foothills Gateway Inc.?
The Building Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure agency buildings, grounds, and equipment remain in optimal condition and meet safety and OSHA standards. This includes monitoring and maintaining boilers, emergency management systems, HVAC, fire and security alarms, electrical, and plumbing systems.
This role focuses on improving work quality, managing repair costs, overseeing contractors, and ensuring compliance with required inspections. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The supervisor also responds to occasional emergency repair needs and must be available for occasional early morning, evening, or weekend consultations, as well as coordinating with vendors and contractors as needed.

Requirements:
· This position requires a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
· One year facility and/or building maintenance experience is preferred. Must complete and pass all FGI training required for this position.
· Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with various tools and equipment. Experience in various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs is preferred.
· Must be 18 years of age or older.
· Driving is a requirement for this position.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to drive and operate a forklift; training and certification provided, if needed.
