Bartenders for New High-End Chef Restaurant
We are excited to introduce our new high-end, chef-inspired Restaurant and Bar in Black Mountain, NC. Our focus is on providing an elevated steakhouse experience with a creative, modern twist, complemented by expertly crafted cocktails and an extensive wine list. We are seeking talented and experienced bartenders who are passionate about both the art of mixology and delivering top-tier guest service.
About You:
You are an experienced bartender with a love for fine dining and a strong understanding of the elevated standards expected in a high-end restaurant. You are knowledgeable about classic cocktails, wines, and spirits, and have a creative flair for crafting signature drinks that complement our sophisticated menu. You take pride in offering impeccable service and building rapport with guests, ensuring each visit is memorable. You’re a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, upscale environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Your attention to detail and dedication to hospitality set you apart.
What We Ask of You:
- Provide expert knowledge of our cocktail menu, wine offerings, and food pairings to enhance the guest experience
- Mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area and keep all supplies fully stocked throughout your shift
- Engage with guests to provide a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience, delivering personalized service
- Ensure the highest standards of drink presentation and quality, in line with our steakhouse’s elevated service
- Assist with restocking and managing inventory, working closely with the bar team to ensure efficiency
- Work harmoniously with the front-of-house team to create a seamless dining experience for our guests
- Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation policies to maintain the highest level of service
Bartender & Fine Dining Hospitality Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older with prior bartending experience in an upscale or fine dining restaurant
- Strong knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, premium spirits, and wine selections, with the ability to make sophisticated recommendations
- Ability to deliver refined customer service in a high-end environment while maintaining an approachable, professional attitude
- Excellent communication skills to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience
- High attention to detail, especially in drink preparation, garnish, and presentation
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced, upscale setting without sacrificing quality
- Flexibility to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Strong physical stamina, capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Major Hospitality Skills:
- Guest Engagement: Build meaningful guest relationships through personalized service, recognizing returning patrons and providing tailored drink recommendations.
- Professionalism: Deliver service that aligns with the high standards of a fine dining steakhouse, ensuring guests feel valued and attended to at all times.
- Culinary Pairing Knowledge: Be able to suggest wine and cocktail pairings to enhance the culinary experience, particularly with steak and other fine meats.
- Attention to Detail: Perfect each drink’s presentation and flavor, understanding that every aspect of the guest experience contributes to our reputation.

Pay:
Base pay starts at $7.00 per hour plus tips (average $25-$40 per hour, including tips)
Expected hours: 16–40 hours per week
