Position : Teacher - Preschool / Early Childhood Education (part-time)
Rate : $20.40 / hour

Foothills is looking for Part-Time Full Day Teachers and Part-Time Half Day Teachers to assist with the administration and delivery of preschool programs, all while maintaining a safe recreational and learning environment for the children. The Teacher must demonstrate leadership skills, be a positive role model to the children and have effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with the children, parents, and supervisors. The Teacher must be organized, creative with class projects and have a genuine interest in working with children.
Full Day - This is a part time position in our Full day program. The program runs M-F from 7 : 00am-6 : 00pm 52 weeks a year. This position requires occasional evening and weekend events as well as annual full day trainings.
Half Day - This is a part time position that follows the Jeffco School Calendar. The school year runs August - May. Applicant must be available M / W / F from 8 : 00-2 : 00 and T / Th from 8 : 30-12 : 30. This position requires occasional evening and weekend events as well as annual full day trainings. Additional hours may be available in Children's Programs during the summer and Holiday breaks.
Experience and Skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Must meet appropriate Group Leader / Early Childhood Teachers requirements / qualifications and provide all documentation as required by the State of Colorado's Department of Human Services upon hire.
- Willing to complete certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Universal Precautions.
- Complete 15 hours training annually.
- Satisfactory criminal background check including Colorado Bureau of Investigations and TRAILS / Central Registry criminal record review as required by the Colorado Department of Social Services within 5 working days of employment.
- Provide all documentation as required by the State of Colorado Child Care Licensing Division upon hire.
