For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc. is looking to add to our family. Hours are 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. The pay is based on experience. We are located 7318 Sunshine Road Brooksville, FL
NATURE AND SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT:
Education Coordinator gives vision and leadership to the strategic day-to-day operation of the education department. The Education Coordinator is responsible for managing and growing For Each 1 Reach 1 Mentoring Program, Inc. in person and online presence, which includes tutoring, homework club, book club, summer academics and summer school. Education Coordinator is expected to oversee and support the integrity of the education program, while exercising considerable tact, discretion, and judgment in all areas of the assignment. They must be energetic, people-friendly, have exceptional customer service and attention to detail with the ability to organize and create orderly systems. Supervision, safety, and confidentiality is key to this position, this person must be creative and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Education Coordinator must have a clear understanding of how to manage and operate online tutoring, they should support the team, making sure, that they have the tools needed to be successful in their assignment. Education Coordinator must be able to tutor youth, schedule tutoring appointments, conduct interviews for youth needing tutoring, testing, etc.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Must pass a level 2 background screening.
Online experience.
Experience in working with children.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and time management skills.
A creative mindset and a friendly demeanor.
Well, organized with excellent leadership abilities.
Ability to make sound judgment.
Proficient with most mainstream office software and computer skills.
Must be able to tutor clients.
Some knowledge of the practices of a nonprofit organization.
Demonstrate ability to organize, direct and coordinate operations.
Supervision, recruitment, and retention of tutors and clients.
Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems
with limited supervision.
Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with
programs staff, subordinates, Board and Advisory members, community groups, and
other related agencies.
Ability to accept constructive suggestions.
Ability to adapt to change.
